The site compiles public records and mapped features for general reference. It is not an official source. Lake access, facilities, fishing regulations, seasons, limits, fees and conditions change, and data may be incomplete, out of date or matched to the wrong lake. Confirm anything that matters with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources or the agency that manages the site you plan to visit.
Safety
Lakes are dangerous. Ice is never completely safe. Cold water, weather, currents, boat traffic and algae blooms can injure or kill. Nothing on this site is a statement that a lake, beach, launch or ice sheet is safe to use. You are responsible for your own decisions and for following the law.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MinneLakes.org is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
Private property
A lake appearing here does not mean you may cross private land to reach it. Use public accesses or get permission.
